The title is pretty self-explanitory. Four days in and it’s a pretty good read. He’s recently posted his Party name, so I’m sure he’ll get railbirded as long as he keeps the excellent blog going.

I’m working on turning my $300 FTP bankroll into a $310 bankroll, I’ll keep you posted on my results.

After two weeks off, I miss The Mookie, even if there was a Hammer Day event thrown in there.

Couldn’t make my home game this week either. Family obligations take precedence. I can’t complain though.

Like a smack habit that you can’t kick, I keep going back to the HU Turbo SnG’s on FTP. I had a really bad streak about a week ago, so I took some time off and read a little bit, and just relaxed, and everything is back to normal. It’s a slow way to build a bankroll, but it’s tough for me to find large blocks of time to play anymore, even for a one-table SnG. It’s just too easy to play these damn things, they’re quick, and loaded with donks.

I’m envious of those of you who have the bankroll/time to play the FTOPS events. I’ve been watching a few fellow bloggers play, and it’s been fun reading Hoy’s recaps after watching him play. He’s played real well I think, but seems to have bad timing at crucial points. I thought the Froelich bustout was simply a bad play on his part though. But what do I know, I’m donking around in low-buyin MTT’s and SnG’s.

I’m gonna try to play a decent MTT or two tonight after Mrs. Numb and Numb Jr. go to sleep.

Apparently I suck at poker now.  I’m swearing off Turbo heads-up sit and go’s forever.  I can’t handle it anymore.  I’m normally patient, and realize there are swings in variance from time to time, but this is ridiculous.  KK vs. 22, no problems right…WRONG  2 on the river.  This is just one example of the many suckouts or card-dead stretches I’ve experienced over the last week or so.  Who fucking risks all of their stack with 22?

Fuck it, I’m playing MTTs exclusively for now.  i’ve had a nice run in those these days.

I’ve made a lot of money from HU SnG’s in the past, I guess FTP decided they needed to redistribute that money among the donkeys who are playing out their last buyin because they can’t deposit anymore, and they’ve never played well enough to make a withdrawal in their poor, pathetic poker lives.

OK, my mad Photoshop skills are…well…shitty.  My first attempt as seen above proves that.  I’m going to have to play around a little bit more.

Anyone out there with a few skills who wouldn’t mind giving it a shot?

I’ve been doing some screwing around with the look of the site lately.  Just trying to settle in with a theme that works for me.  Sorry for the inconsistent appearance.  WordPress is great, I just need to get it tweaked just right though.

I do have some poker stuff to write about, it just depends upon how productive I need want to be today at the office.
